Exploring Synchronicity, the Unconscious, and the Physics of Meaning with Suzanne Gieser

What happens when the depths of the psyche meet the mysteries of quantum reality?

This week on Connecting with Coincidence, we dive into the fascinating world of Suzanne Gieser, PhD—a historian of science, licensed psychotherapist, and one of the foremost scholars on the relationship between C.G. Jung and physicist Wolfgang Pauli.

In this episode, we discuss:

  • How Jung and Pauli’s conversations shaped our understanding of synchronicity

  • The psychological and quantum foundations of meaningful coincidences

  • The relevance of these ideas in modern psychotherapy and consciousness studies

  • The hidden connection between dream symbols and the individuation process

Gieser’s expertise spans psychoanalysis, quantum physics, and trauma therapy, making her insights uniquely positioned to bridge science, psychology, and the mystery of human experience. She has lectured extensively, edited Dream Symbols of the Individuation Process (2019), and continues to contribute to the Swedish C.G. Jung Foundation while working in private practice and trauma clinics.

If you’ve ever wondered whether the strange coincidences in your life are just chance—or if they hint at a deeper quantum connection—this is an episode you won’t want to miss.
